Keys for Communication is a resource developed by your NHS Lothian Speech and Language Therapy Team and has been developed collaboratively with early years education staff. It replaces ‘Talking Time’.
It contains information on how speech and language develops in the early years, and resources built around 5 evidence based Keys for Communication including posters, group plans, ideas for embedding these approaches and useful links to webinars and videos. This menu of resources has been designed for you to use flexibly allowing you to use whichever parts of it are useful for you and your setting.
